Movement

Movement is not separate from healing — it's one of its most direct pathways. Long before I became a nutritionist, I was a dancer, and that relationship with my body — its strength, its intelligence, its capacity to communicate what words can't — has shaped everything about how I work with clients today.

I bring together several disciplines, each offering something different:

The Non-Linear Movement Method® (NLMM) — A somatic, embodiment-based practice developed by Michaela Boehm, rooted in following the body's own intelligence rather than a fixed sequence. This work helps release what's held in the body, build present-moment awareness, and reconnect you to your own vitality and sensuality.

Pilates — As a Certified STOTT Pilates Instructor, I use precise, intelligent movement to build core strength, spinal health, and functional stability — foundational work for every body, at every stage.

Functional Movement & Strength Training — Especially essential in midlife, when muscle mass and bone density need real, progressive attention. Strength training isn't optional here — it's medicine.

Dance — I hold a Bachelor's degree in Dance from the University of Washington in Seattle, and spent decades as a professional modern dancer. That training taught me that movement is language — and I bring that same expressive, exploratory quality into how I guide clients toward their own embodied sense of self.

Whether we're building strength, restoring mobility, or simply helping you feel more at home in your body, movement is where so much of this work truly lives.
